The NSO replacement for virtual console seems great at first, but you gotta take into account how that adds up over time. Apparently the emulator is capable of supporting that kind of stuff, but for whatever reason they won't implement itĬertain levels of F-Zero X apparently have framerate issues that weren't present on original hardware This is less a bug and more just something they should be able to fix: complete lack of support for the memory card, so you need to use save states in Winback and can't save time trial ghosts in Mario Kart 64. It actually runs at a higher/more consistent 60fps versus original hardware and that's mostly fine, but it apparently causes issues with the bird man suit where you need to mash the button a lot more to stay flying than you did on original hardware In Mario Party 1, one of I think the Bowser minigames (a slot machine one, I believe) has an issue where the background doesn't render or may show the background from a mini game you already played ![]() There's a boss in Yoshi's Story who turns invisible, but the effect doesn't render quite right and so the boss is "visibly invisible" in a way it isn't supposed to be There's still some outstanding issues, but imo none of them are really "dealbreakers" personally. IMO it's probably in a "good enough" place for most people's purposes, but it's still not completely perfect (and tbf, I'm not sure I'd describe any N64 emulation anywhere as completely perfect).
